Participants at the South by Southwest (SXSW), conference held in Austin, Texas each year, attended an unannounced appearance by Elon Mask, founder of Tesla and SpaceX. He appeared as an unannounced guest at the lecture by Jonathan Nolan, the author of HBO’s “Westworld” series.
Mask in a conversation at the conference said that SpaceX will be able to send its rocket to a short trip to Mars by next year.
Mask and Nolan worked together on a two-minute inspirational video from the launch of the Falcon Heavy rocket on Mask.
“This is not a movie trailer, nor a series. We hope this is a trailer for the next chapter of humanity.” said Jonathan Nolan.
