Computer technology will allow the relatives and friends of the victims to see again a loved one and communicate with him on simple themes. Programmers from Sweden are currently developing this technology.

The “digital copy” will be able to discuss simple topics, but it will not be able to talk about something new, because the program is set on one topic and will not be updated.

The funeral agency together with programmers and 10 volunteers managed to create the first samples. The voices will be recorded and processed by the program to sound similar after the deaths of some of the volunteers.

The next step for the developers is to create a robot that will visually copy the deceased.

Such technology can be seen in the famous television series “Black Mirror”. Artificial intelligence that plays with the mind of a person and provides communication with the deceased through his “digital copy”.
